Mountain Restaurants

There is a wide variety of mountain restaurants to choose from but here are a few of our favourites.

La Folie Douce

The big attraction here is the atmosphere. You get regular live acts and DJ’s playing here from lunchtime onwards.

The restaurant is self service and situated next door to La Fruitiere. The food is top quality and of great variety. Lunch is available from 12-3.30pm.

There is also a huge sun terrace where you can sit and have a drink before making your way down to La Daille.

La Datcha

This well sheltered self service restaurant in the very popular solaise ski area is a great place for a refreshment stop or a hearty lunch. There is a large dining terrace and a large number of deck chairs. This is a very inexpensive place to stop compared to most and a great place to relax.

Trifollet

This is a very cosy two tier restaurant with sun terrace. It is exclusively table service with a good traditional menu including some local dishes and home-made pizzas. It has a separate bar area with snacks and often live music.
